CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - The entire month of October is "National Bullying Prevention" Month and there's a new smart phone app being introduced at West Oso I.S.D to make kids feel safe when they get online. The new app is called STOPit.

The creator of the app says it's a way to make anyone that feels like they're being bullied on social media simply take a screenshot of the bullying on their phones and anonymously send that screenshot into the app at any time to alert parents and school officials.

West Oso I.S.D. is one of the first schools in the coastal bend to try out the new app and plans to introduce it to all four of their schools this Thursday.
